Jack’s story fits perfectly—he’s dressed for pool work, holding the right tool, and standing near the water. Johnny’s story, however, raises questions. He says he was repairing a sink but is shirtless and wearing swim trunks, standing outside by the pool, far from any plumbing.

Why would someone fixing a sink be dressed like they just went swimming? His outfit and location don’t match his story, making it clear he’s lying. Jack’s explanation has no contradictions, so the logical conclusion is that Johnny is the one hiding something.

This puzzle reminds us how important details are. When someone’s words don’t match the facts around them, it’s a clue they might be dishonest. Whether in games or real life, noticing these small inconsistencies can reveal the truth. If you figured out Johnny was the one involved, you caught what was hiding in plain sight.
